Film Course: Short Films

Creating A Masterpiece

Creating a short film is a great accomplishment in and of itself. You will have the opportunity to create a script for a short film and self produce a short film while being enrolled in our film course. This is a great way to go through the entire process from idea conceptualization to post production.

Short Films are becoming much more common in popular culture and even some of the biggest names in directing and acting are starting to work within this subcategory of film.

However, most film students start working with short films so they can learn about the entire process of filmmaking in order to apply it to creating feature films. Since short films are usually between 20 to 40 minutes long, there is about half of much works that needs done (small scripts, small casts, less editing etc). Short films allow you to get a good overview of the entire filmmaking process before jumping into creating full length features of documentaries.
