Film School: What Do I Need To Enroll?

Hardware & Software Requirements

All you need to enroll in our course is a camera with video or film capabilities and a computer. Neither the camera or the computer needs to be the most advanced on the market. While you will learn about advanced equipment, it is only from a theoretical standpoint. We assume that most of our students have basic HD / HDV or Film cameras.

Likewise, you can have a PC or a MAC for video editing software purposes. We don't specialize in teaching about just one type of editing package. We use both the default editing programs for editing in both PC and MAC and offer suggestions for other more advanced editing suites. However, no additional money needs to be spent on hardware or software.

As far as learning material goes, we provide it all. Once you enroll we will send you a package containing your course information. While you're waiting for your course package to arrive we have set online documents for your first couple of lessons while you wait. This allows you to get started right away.
