Conceptualization & Funding Your Creative Ideas
At Lights Film School we
dedicate entire sections on brainstorming and idea conceptualization. We want
you to create stunningly beautiful works for art. Everything from screenwriting
and cinematography to sound and music will be covered. Our Aim isn't to teach
you how to create a templated Hollywood drama flick. Instead our teachers have
devised a curriculum which allows you to use your imagination to its fullest
extent. As a director of films your imagination is your most important asset.
For this reason we spend quite a bit of time developing this part of your skill
set early in the first month of our course.
However, a good idea is nothing without the
right people to bring it to life. We teach you how to self produce films on a
shoestring budget as well as provide invaluable information on how to go about
getting funding for your project. There are various private investors,
government organizations and non government organizations all seeking to help
promote the arts and invest in filmmaking projects.

towards getting your film projects off the ground.
