Film Schools?
Lights Film School
is now accepting enrollments in our Chicago film school. Our program is offered
exclusively online which means that you will pay a small fraction of the
enrollment fees paid by other bricks and mortar film courses.
however, the quality of our
course material is on par with those of colleges and universities. We use two
large and reputable text books (over 1000 pages of learning materials), DVD's,
and lecture notes to guide you through our film program.
Once you enroll in our
Chicago film school you will be sent all of your learning material and you can
start learning right away. Our program takes about 4 months to complete but you
since our Chicago film school is project based and not time based you may choose
to take longer or go through the learning material as quickly as possible.
With our film course being
focused on the process of 'creation' you will graduate our film school with an
impressive portfolio of film projects which you will have completed. At Lights
Film School we are more interested in our students going out there and getting
experience with writing, directing, filming and editing footage. We do have a
testing component to our course as well and you will need to write a final exam
however most of our course focuses on teaching you the fundamentals of
filmmaking and then we create dynamic and challenging assignments for you to
complete.
This practical, hands on
experience is a great way for you to immerse yourself in the exciting and
rewarding film industry.
Visit our homepage to learn
more about our course enrollment fees, our film course curriculum and our grant
program.
We look forward to hearing
