MAN BITES DOG
Budget: No budget student film production
Trailer: Man Bites Dog Trailer
Synopsis: Belgium film students Remy Belvaux, André Bonzel and Benoît Poelvoorde collaborated to shoot this black and white mockumentary on no budget. The film was an experiment to see what could be accomplished without a budget. The film is now highly regarded in its genre and is now even part of the Criterion Collection and distributed by Janus Films.

The three filmmakers are also actors in their own film working both in front and behind their camera to create a humorous yet surprisingly grotesque story of a serial killer void of the clichés we are familiar with through their representation in popular media.
