Welcome to the Lights Film School’s independent film budget database. The purpose of this database is to show examples of films that have been completed on small or micro budgets. Simply becuase a film is low budget doesn’t mean a film lacks in quality. Many of the films in this database are prestigious award winners of festivals in New York, Cannes, Toronto and others.

However, this database isn’t only limited to widely recognized films. Over time we hope to add an assortment of films to this database created by independent filmmakers. If you know of other films please feel free to contact us and let us know.

For each category we aim to tell you as much about the production budget as possible as well as provide any media that is available (such as film trailers) for you to view.
