What are the best video editing software choices?

Below we outline the best video editing software programs for MAC computers. Free MAC Video Editing Software - iMovie

iMovie is free and also comes bundled with iLife on most new Macs. However, if you have a Mac but don't have iMovie yet you can download it from the apple website or downloads dot com. It's a powerful and easy to use tool which is much more advanced than the default movie editing software on PC's. You have quite a bit of control over sound, music, fade ins / outs, and best of all you have some color control. For a free MAC editing software it's good, but not as good (due to less manual control) as Final Cut which we will speak about below.

Final Cut Pro - $1299
