What happens when you play two audio files on top of each other?

Another editing technique which could be used if you’ve accidentally recorded a particular scene too quiet is to “double up” on the sound source. If you create a copy of the sound source and lay two versions of the same quiet audio on top of one another in your timeline you’ll effectively create a louder sound.
